LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A class at Purdue University is writing letters to residents at the St. Mary Healthcare Center in Lafayette. For the last three semesters they ve been writing back and forth as pen pals and helping to bridge the generational gap.
In previous classes, students would visit the residents. But COVID-19 has shut the doors on visitors in senior centers. ....
