The justices dismissed the appeal of David and Cindy Keogh of a lower court ruling that their statements to police can be used against them at trial.
State Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments whether a Bound Brook couple's rights were violated after a shooting death at their home in 2019.
"I am not a cold, calculated killer," Ryan Keogh told the judge before he was sentenced. "God knows I am not guilty."
