SMRT Trains has collaborated with France-based Thales to develop next-generation rail signalling technologies for greener rides in Singapore.
Thales will provide 82 innovative SelTrac™ Vehicle On-Board Controllers (VOBCs) on 41 new trains for the Vancouver, Canada, SkyTrain fleet expansion, which will operate on the Expo and Millennium Lines. The new technology will allow for increased capacity and reliability for passengers.
