AHMEEK David J. Sundberg, 73, a resident of Ahmeek died on Friday, February 12, 2021, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on August 30, 1947, in Laurium, a son of the late Robert and Lena (Vairus) Sundberg.
Dave graduated from Calumet High School with the Class of 1965 and from Michigan Tech in 1969 with a degree in Mechanical En gineering. While at Michigan Tech, he played for the Huskies football team and was a member of Theta Tau Fraternity.
He worked for General Electric as an engineer, for 31 years, in five different states. For two years he taught at Minuteman Vocational and Technical School. He retired in 2000 and moved back to Ahmeek to be closer to his family. ....
