September. Mr. President , before we finish our business and senators return for the work period at home, i want everyone to know about whats going to happen when we come back. Following the august recess, were going to convene on september 8 and were going to be here for one week, two weeks, and two days. Thats it. September 23 is our target date to adjourn until after the election. I hope we can do that. This leaves us no more than as ive indicated two weeks and two days.
