Deputy Mayor Krista Fitzsimons is the high vote getter in a crowded race for three seats on the Wildwood Board of Commissioners, with 474 votes in a crowded field.

Campaign finance reports filed with the state Election Law Enforcement Commission show the campaign of Krista Fitzsimons, R. Todd Kieninger and Phil Swetsky has raised the most money in the crowded race for control of Wildwood's governing body, bringing in more than $28,000 so far.

With three facing state indictment, 14 candidates for three seats on the Wildwood Board of Commissioners made their pitch to voters Tuesday. Among the issues was whether a boom in development was out of control or a good sign for the city.
