Mutamba & King'atua complete moves to Sofapaka on deadline day

Mutamba expressed his happiness over his return and stated his ambition to help the club going forward.
“It feels great to be here once more. Sofapaka to me is home and I don’t feel all too new here," the forward said.
"I' am glad the coach has shown confidence in me and I am looking forward to rewarding his trust in me by performing.”
Mutamba saw his expected move to Libyan side Asswehly SC fall through when talks with Bidco United did not succeed towards the end of January. The lanky striker had been signed by the Thika club at the beginning of the 2020/21 season as a free agent after being dropped by Wazito FC alongside 12 other players.

KCB ready for Kariobangi Sharks after disappointing Nzoia Sugar, Sofapaka results - Otieno

"We resumed training, and the boys are a little bit tired because of the travelling they have done in the space of two days.
"But we have worked on their recovery to make sure that they are ready for the Kariobangi Sharks game."
While the KCB coach was disappointed with the result termed against Sofapaka,
Batoto ba Mungu's coach Ken Odhiambo said earlier they felt cheated after Timothy Otieno's goal was disallowed.
“We really feel cheated not to have picked full points against KCB,” Odhiambo said. “Timothy [Otieno] scored a clear open goal but it was ruled out for an offside. Otieno’s header would have sealed the three points for us and thus we feel so cheated by the offside call.

FKF Shield Cup: Sofapaka labour past Kitale All-Stars

The hosts gave a good account of themselves, pushing forward and playing with composure and confidence despite their limited experience as compared to their opponents.
Neither of the two teams managed to get a goal in the first half. While All-Stars must have been satisfied with their first-half display, the Nairobi-based side were not contented with the result.
After the break, the 2009-league champions came back stronger hoping to get a goal and avoid post-match penalties.
The ineffective Paul Kiongera and Collins Wakungu gave way to Otieno and Joe Waithera. And in the 48th minute, the former Tusker FC striker scored the all-important goal to ensure his team advanced.
