West Tennessee Healthcare vaccinates 1,500

West Tennessee Healthcare vaccinates 1,500
A line of about 10 people stood outside the gym on Lane College’s campus on Saturday, staying six feet apart.
They steadily were ushered into the gym one-by-one to sign in for their initial COVID-19 vaccination, waited a couple of minutes and walked to a waiting registered nurse with a vaccine within a process similar to that of running an errand at the bank on a Saturday morning.
After taking the shot, each patient then waited in one of about 70 chairs spread throughout the gym floor, also at least six feet apart, where they would stay for 15 minutes to make sure there were no allergic reactions to the vaccine.
