The largest family fortunes in the United States and the subject of an explosive hbo documentary, is due in a new Orleans Court today following his weekend arrest on murder charges. Authorities have spent decades investigating durst. The 1982 disappearance of his wife kathleen remains unsolved. In 2001 he admitted to killing and dismembering his neighbor morris black, but he was acquitted of murdering black. But his arrest this weekend comes in connection with a 2000 murder of his close friend and spokesperson susan berman. A chine of islands in the South Pacific that makes up a countrycalled vanuatu has taken a direct hit from a powerful cyclone with wind close to 170 miles per hour.
