After supporters of President Donald Trump attacked the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday in a last-ditch attempt to prevent Congress from certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, Republican leaders in both the Connecticut House and Senate called the violent insurrection “unacceptable,” “disruptive” and “un-American.”
