Posted On December 30, 2020 Chris Williams of Hudgins has received a citation from the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament for a 5-pound, 25-inch speckled trout caught on Nov. 28 in the Piankatank River. As the year winds down on the 2020 fishing tournament, which is operated through the Virginia Marine Resources Commission, there are a few local connections to leading entries. Keith Nuttall of Gloucester, who boated an 18-pound bluefish last winter at Triangle Wrecks, leads the entries for that species, and in fact has the only citation issued in 2020 for bluefish.
