BOURNE — Plans for an independent pharmacy to host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic Friday at Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School for the school’s staff and eligible members of the public have been canceled. Cape Cod to get one-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine next week

The newly approved Johnson & Johnson vaccine has crossed the bridge. Barnstable County officials announced Thursday that they will dispense 1,200 doses of the one-shot vaccine next week during two clinics at Cape Cod Community College in West Barnstable. They said 600 doses will be given out Tuesday and 600 more on Thursday in the community college gymnasium.
