Even in the earliest goings of the weekend’s snowfall, children and their adult chaperones were flocking to the park’s bowl-shaped green spaces.
Maddie Trebelhorn, 10, was primed and ready to hit the slopes before accumulation even reached 1 inch on the valley floor Friday. The Grout Elementary fourth grader and her father, Chris, set out in the morning to get a bit of sledding in before Maddie had to log in for the day’s virtual classes. ....
