The texan republican aimed at strengthening the system, following his remarks, a number of senators came to the floor to talk about veterans day. Ou as the world now knows, there was a tragic shooting in texas last sunday that took the livese. Of 26 innocent people and injured 20 more. It is an important time for us to reflect on what veterans do for us and what their families do for us, the sacrifices that both those who served and those who support those who serve is incredibly important. We have half a million missouri veterans and one of the great privileges of this job is to get to represent them, and the values and commitment to freedom in our country that they stand for.
