Ferro has an eye for selecting museum-quality pieces that are stunning, as well as practical. The shop has everything you would want for al fresco entertaining and gift giving. Here are some examples of the international artisans whose works can be found there: Simone Crestani, a glass artisan, started working at 15 in Massimo Lunardon’s factory. After a 10-year apprenticeship, he opened his own studio. His work is organic and visceral. The Popolo collection features octopi undulating on the sides of glasses and decanters. A globular vase with a single tentacle rising into the air was designed to pay homage to a single blossom. The collection is priced from $124 per glass to $483 for decanters and vases.
