For this exhibition, i worked about 3 1 2 years, researching, teaching myself this history and finding all the objects. In the exhibition, we had about 124 objects of which there are 63 portraits and in curating the exhibition, i was hoping to commemorate the 19th amendment and tell the history of the 19th amendment and how women lobbied to get this amendment passed and ratified. But also ask questions about it and ask what does it do and what does it not do . And why 1965 and the Voting Rights acts is considered another so ....

Than that with women who were interested in the Abolitionist Movement but were excluded in london and elsewhere. They thought it was important for women to talk about their own rights, and in fact, the question of the rights to vote in 1848 was probably, of the many items on the agenda was the most controversial, and it was a very close vote. People or women at the convention were more focused on other aspects of womens rights at the time, but that really is the date that we highlight as the start of the womens Suffrage Movement.
