Last Thursday Wayne County responded to the scene of an accident on Highway 45 near 2950E. 51-year-old Monte Bradham of Fairfield was traveling on Hwy 45 when he slowed/stopped for a deer in the roadway. At the same time 23-year-old Kensey Smothers of Fairfield was also traveling Hwy 45. Smothers failed to stop in time, hitting the rear of Bradham's car. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
