On the same day Gov. Jared Polis signed Senate Bill 303 , Douglas County Commissioners announced they will be joining a lawsuit to challenge the measure that looks to put Proposition HH on the November ballot.
The union had called off a strike without a vote last week, with only nine days left in the school year as a method of pressuring teachers to accept the sellout contract.
Roughly 60 teachers showed up at the union’s “mass membership” meeting, which pushed the sellout contract to shut down a seven-day strike.
