WASHINGTON - A Louisiana man pleaded guilty Monday to felony charges for his involvement in the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
Colby Purkel pleaded guilty Monday to a felony charge and will be sentenced on Aug. 1.
Colby Purkel, who was originally arrested and charged along with his father, 51-year-old Willard Colby Purkel, will be sentenced on August. 1.
More than 1,200 people have been charged with Capitol riot-related crimes.
More than 1,200 individuals have been charged in nearly all 50 states in connection with the Capitol riots more than two years ago.
