because of a two-car shootout about 11:00 last night here at the 76 in richmond. apparently that car was hit by an assault rifle and we heard reports that as many as 50 casings were found here at the scene. we are told that the men inside that tahoe tried to flee the scene during the shooting and in doing so that's when they crashed into what's called a gas service. that's what ruptured the gas line. now, because of this, guests at the 40 flags hotel next door to the 76 station had to be evacuated. chp had to shut down the freeway for about an hour while they were doing an investigat...
