Weve got a yellow alert on our hands tonight and another on the way. Im derek mcginty. Luckily the os didnt get rained out, but your weekend plans could be a little damp. Light showers in parts of the metro, but another band of showers entering West Virginia and extreme western virginia. That will roll through overnight into tomorrow morning. We had to ex 10 the extend the yellow alert at least through saturday morning. All this is light activity. Showers out 97 and on the west side of 270 in western Montgomery County not far from poolesville. See the yellows along gaithersburg and i7 at 8 00 ...
