On the BSE, 1,804 shares rose and 956 shares fell. A total of 161 shares were unchanged. Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,633.70 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs), were net buyers to the tune of Rs 2,355.56 crore in the Indian equity market on 19 April 2021, provisional data showed.
