Packed trainspacked platforms and packed busesbart passengers not having a good day. The problem started late in the morning and by the evening commutethe reduced service was on everyones mind. Bart Officials Say service was stopped all together because of an issue with the tracks in the east bay. Alicia trost we cannot risk damaging any more train cars at bart. We have a limited number of cars so what we did is pull the service from inbetween those two stations so we can get to the root cause. We cannot afford to lose any more train cars to damage jeff more than a dozen buses were used to shuttle people from the North Concord station to the pittsburg bay point station. Most were thankful for the buses but were not happy to have to use them. Long lines were everywhere and patience was in short supply.
