National women beach volleyball team coach Sammy Mulinge is hoping to have the services of experienced Naomi Too for the Olympics qualifiers.
Too, who plays for Kenya Pipeline picked a knee injury on November 22, 2019 during the national league play-offs at Kasarani and has been out of action since then.
The injury saw the 2019 All Africa Games beach volleyball silver medalist Too who partnered with Gaudencia Makokha sidelined for the Africa Olympic qualifiers round one held in Dar-Es-Salaam, January 2020.
The injury forced her to be hospitalised but she has since been discharged and started physiotherapy and light gymnasium work. ....

Kenya to compete in annulled Beach Volleyball Olympic qualifiers : The standard Sports

African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) has allowed for the repeat of the second round of women s continental qualifiers for 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Kenya had forfeited its chance to gain a ticket to the Summer Games after they failed to honour the second round of matches in Abuja, Nigeria after Covid-19 pandemic left sports activities in a mess.
Kenya will travel to Nigeria between March and April for the rescheduled championships.
The second round of the championships were held with only hosts Nigeria and Zambia taking part. Both qualified for the final round of the beach continental cup. ....
