Pedro Felix Camacho, 21, of 25 Queen St., Worcester, has been charged with armed assault to murder.
He is being held without bail following his arraignment in Worcester Central District Court Monday, according to the office of Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Camacho was arrested by Worcester police over the weekend.
A dangerousness hearing has been scheduled by Judge Andrew Abdella for Camacho Wednesday.
Camacho s arraignment follows those of Celestine Bigirimana, 22, and Mohamed Abdullahi, 19, for the same incident. Bigirimana is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, and disorderly conduct. Abdullahi is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. ....

JAPAN COMMITS $6 BILLION TO GUAM RELOCATION

HAGATNA, Guam (Pacific Daily News, May 24) – Japan yesterday committed in law to funding the Marine relocation to Guam.
It is a $6 billion commitment from Japan the bigger chunk of the $10 billion relocation-to-Guam price tag that paves the way for the largest military buildup on island since World War II. At least $1 billion a year could flow into the island over the next decade.
The law that was passed by Japan s upper house of parliament yesterday, after being approved in the lower house last month:

Futenma troops would move to new Okinawa site
By Therese Hart HAGATNA, Guam (Pacific Daily News, ) – The Japanese government has conveyed to the United States that Tokyo will not go through with an existing plan to relocate a U.S. Marine base in Okinawa.
Citing several Japanese-U.S. sources, Kyodo News reported that Japan has now begun considering in earnest an alternative plan to reclaim an area between the U.S. Navy facility on White Beach in Uruma and Tsuken Island off the main island of Okinawa. ....

Multiple county fire employees announce their retirement


–Cal Fire has announced the retirement of several Cal Fire/San Luis Obispo County Fire Department employees:
Captain John Aguilera began his career with the State of California as a Park Aide with Parks and Recreation in 1986. Since 1987, Captain Aguilera rose through the ranks from Seasonal Firefighter I, Fire Apparatus Engineer to Fire Captain. Most recently, he was the Administrative Captain of the Emergency Command Center. Captain Aguilera retired on Oct. 31, 2020, after 34 years of dedicated service.
Captain David Latham started his career with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection on July 1, 1993, as a Firefighter II Paramedic with the San Diego Unit. His career saw him promoted to Fire Apparatus Engineer, Limited-Term Fire Captain, and finally Permanent Fire Captain to the San Luis Obispo Unit. Captain Latham worked as a Fire Captain Paramedic from July 1, 2002, until retiring Nov. 1, 2020, with over 27 years of service. ....
