Coronavirus: China and Russia 'are winning vaccine diplomacy war against West'

The West is losing the COVID-19 vaccine diplomacy battle in key developing regions of the world to Russia and China and will suffer long-term strategic consequences, a new report has warned.
China and Russia are stealthily building influence and playing the long game by sending millions and millions of coronavirus vaccines to developing states, a just-released report from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) stated.
The report found Russia and China are aiming to take advantage of a vaccine vacuum (and) a perceived failure of Western states to help in the provision of vaccines.
