Jun. 2021 Nachtschwärmer in der Region Basel können bald auch nach Mitternacht den öffentlichen Verkehr nutzen: Das Nachtnetz des Tarifverbunds Nordwestschweiz (TNW) nimmt am kommenden Wochenende seinen Betrieb wieder auf. Die Wiederaufnahme des Nachtangebots sei landesweit koordiniert worden, teilte der TNW gestern mit. Ihren Betrieb nehmen sämtliche Nacht-S-Bahnen, Nachttrams und Nachtbusse in der Nacht vom nächsten Freitag wieder auf. Das TNW-Nachtangebot war Ende Oktober 2020 wegen der Coronavirus-Pandemie eingestellt worden. Das Schutzkonzept für den öffentlichen Verkehr gilt laut TNW auch für das Nachtnetz. Dies betrifft namentlich auch die Maskenpflicht, die bis auf Weiteres in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln befolgt werden muss.
