Johannes Hahn ist nicht gegen den Klimaschutz und schon gar nicht gegen das Klimaschutzpaket der Europäischen Union, das die EU-Kommission diese Woche vorgestellt hat. Dennoch hat der für das Budget zuständige EU-Kommissar am Mittwoch als einziges Mitglied der EU-Kommission gegen das Paket Fit for 55 gestimmt. Als Grund dafür nennt er eine fehlende Verknüpfung zu neuen EU-Einnahmequellen (Stichwort: Eigenmittel) war. Meine Gegenstimme richtete sich gegen den fehlenden Konnex zu den neuen Eigenmitteln, der ursprünglich Teil des Paketes war , erklärt Hahn im Interview mit dem Standard .
