After months of mostly bad news, Canada s chief public health officer said today the country s COVID-19 trajectory has improved dramatically and an anticipated flood of doses should put the country on the path back to the things we miss.

SOFIA, April 28 (Xinhua) The number of COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 401,109 after 1,850 new infections were reported in the past 24 hours, official data showed Wednesday.
The country s death toll from the epidemic rose to 16,182 after 81 patients died in the last day, while the number of recoveries grew by 3,375 to 332,418, according to the country s COVID-19 information portal.
At the same time, the current number of COVID-19 hospitalizations and intensive-care patients stood at 7,480 and 714, respectively.
Additionally, 16,749 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 750,899.
Bulgaria s ratio between confirmed deaths and confirmed cases of COVID-19 stands at 4.03 percent, the highest in the European Union (EU), while the cumulative COVID-19 vaccine doses administered per 100 people in the country stand at 10.57, rank ....

SOFIA, April 17 (Xinhua) Bulgaria s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 15,100 after 121 new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, official data showed Saturday.
Meanwhile, the number of confirmed infections rose by 2,126 to 384,887, according to the country s COVID-19 information portal.
During the same period, 3,642 people recovered from the disease, raising the country s total recoveries to 304,033.
The current numbers of COVID-19 hospitalizations and intensive-care patients stood at 9,195 and 801, respectively.
Additionally, 13,755 doses of coronavirus vaccines were administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, taking the total number to 634,129.
Bulgaria has the highest ratio between confirmed deaths and confirmed cases of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the European Union (EU) 3.91 percent, according to the latest data collated by the University of Oxford-based Our ....
