The 42 selected projects hailing from 18 different countries (including Germany, Belgium, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Portugal and the UK) will be pitched across six thematic sessions and will also form the focus of individual professional meetings. France’s Arte Distribution has brought on Florence Sala as its head of marketing and distribution.
Sala (pictured), who began her career at Arte France in 1998 as a project manager for international thematic channels, rejoins the fold following the departure of previous distribution head Celine Payot Lehmann.
Following her first stint at Arte, Sala moved to the Canal+ Group in 1999, where she worked for 18 years in various areas such as international content acquisition and co-production, marketing, international business development, and international distribution at Studiocanal.
Prior to returning to Arte, Sala served for three years as CEO and producer for the French-German production company Bleu Kobalt, where she produced international primetime feature documentaries, including
