On New Yearâs Eve, which was on Thursday, December 31, 2020, the Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, gave an order for the immediate demolition of a restaurant that was falsely alleged to be the venue of a prank Kaduna Sex Party. This was contained in a tweet by the Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency.
After public outcry, the Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency, which released the statement, made a U-turn and said that though they had initially claimed that the building was demolished, without notice, for being the venue of an alleged sex party that never held, that was no longer their stance. ....

The Supreme Council for Shariah in Nigeria on Friday commended the Kaduna State Government for demolishing hotel alleged to be the venue of an aborted ‘sex party’ in the state.
Officials of the Kaduna State Urban State Urban Planning Development Agency had carried out the exercise after the police raided and arrested some of the organisers of the party which never held.
In a statement, the Kaduna State chapter Chairman of the council, AbdurRahman Hassan, said current merciless bloodletting through banditry, kidnappings, armed robbery, and a host of other vices, experienced in Nigeria were caused by immoral acts like the ‘Satanic’ sex party. ....

For demolishing the hotel where the maiden edition of Kaduna sex party was to take place, the Supreme Council for Shariah in Nigeria, has commended the Kaduna State Government ,saying such illicit act will incur the wrath of God
The council also hailed the government for arresting the organizers.
