Unofficial Celine Dion biopic renames the musical star to Aline Dieu

Aline covers the star’s rise to fame, starting with her 1988 win at the Eurovision Song Contest, then onto the path towards building her image.
It also focuses on Aline’s relationship with an older man, her manager Guy-Claude, who helped direct her trajectory to stardom. The film’s premise states, “Aline, a girl from Quebec, has a golden voice and music producer Guy-Claude has big plans for her.” This mirrors Dion’s own marriage to her late husband Rene Angelil, who was more than 25 years her senior.
The film was meant to open in cinemas in 2020, and managed to get a premiere at the Lumiere Festival in Lyon in October 2020. ....

The Olmsted County Fair board won t be canceling a planned concert featuring Minneapolis hip-hop artist Prof, which is scheduled for the fairgrounds next month.
The Olmsted County Fair Board on Thursday addressed the July 23 concert in a news release after receiving backlash over the headliner. Prof was dropped by Rhymesayers last year, with the record label citing misogynistic tweets that some say perpetuate rape culture.
Controversy regarding the scheduled Prof concert grew last week, with some calling on the show to be canceled and criticizing the fair board for booking the artist, the Rochester Post Bulletin reported. ....

James Taylor concert at Tanglewood postponed until next summer

LENOX â For the second consecutive summer, there will be no James Taylor concert at Tanglewood.
Although a 50 percent increase in capacity for Tanglewood allows 9,000 tickets to be sold for all performances, Taylor s Aug. 31 performance has been postponed to July 4, 2022. Thatâs because this seasonâs show had been rescheduled from July 4, 2020, and more than 15,000 tickets had been sold for that date.
âIâm disappointed and frustrated to have to announce the postponement of my August 31 concert at Tanglewood,â Taylor said in a statement for The Eagle and his website, also relayed by the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
âAt this point, more than 15,000 people have bought tickets for our August show and trying to organize the displacement of over 6,000 ticket holders is an impossible task,â Taylor said. âWho loses their seat and how do we accommodate them? ....
