Joe Biden’s DHS Blocks Use of Terms ‘Illegal Alien,’ ‘Assimilation’
President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is blocking the use of the terms “illegal alien” and “assimilation,” internal emails reveal.
Internal emails sent by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) officials request that staff no longer use the terms “illegal alien,” “alien,” and “assimilation” in reference to federal immigration law, according to Axios.
The order comes in the form of a memo signed by USCIS Acting Director Tracy Renaud, where she encourages staff to use “more inclusive language in the agency’s outreach efforts, internal documents and in overall communication with stakeholders, partners and the general public.” ....

Krysten Sinema (D-AZ), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Gary Peters (D-MI), John Hickenlooper (D-CO), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Jon Tester (D-MT), and Joe Manchin (D-WV).”
“The Biden administration shouldn’t reward illegal immigrants for breaking our laws by giving them checks,” Cotton declared in a statement. “Instead of courting foreigners with U.S. taxpayer funds, President Biden should use that money to aid American schools, businesses, and families.”
This vote is rather instructive of how wary Democrats in relatively competitive states are of voting for unpopular pro-illegal alien policies. The 2022 and 2024 election cycles will have many of these Senators up for election. ....

Report: Joe Biden Advisers Plot Immigration Agenda with House Democrats
President-elect Joe Biden’s advisers are reportedly meeting with House Democrats to discuss a swift immigration agenda for the incoming administration, which is almost certain to include some form of amnesty for illegal aliens living in the United States.
Sources familiar with the meetings told Politico that Biden’s policy advisers met with Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA), as well as Reps. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) and Linda Sanchez (D-CA) to discuss an immigration agenda:
The president-elect says he plans to introduce an immigration bill “immediately.” It’s not clear if that will be a larger reform package or a more narrow bill targeted at Dreamers — undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. at a young age, according to our transition reporting team.
