Kwara APC chairman, spokesman in war of words over registration [ARTICLE]

Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Alhaji Tajudeen Aro, however, dismissed the view in a reaction in Ilorin on Monday.

Sanwo-Olu Inaugurates Fully Equipped Primary Health Centre In Ifelodun LCDA

A state-of-the-art Primary Health Centre (PHC) was, on Saturday, commissioned by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Alaba-Oro, Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Amukoko area of the State.
The two-storey fully equipped healthcare facility is a project of the LCDA, which was designed to provide monthly health services to an estimate of 5,000 people in five local councils.
The council named the impressive edifice after the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sanwo-Olu described the development as a “positive turnaround” for residents of the council, given that the land on which the PHC is built was formerly a dumpsite. ....

Kwara APC local council, ward chairmen reject 'sham' membership registration exercise

Local government and ward caretaker committee chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara have rejected the ongoing membership revalidation and registration in the state.
While describing the exercise as a sham, the officials said majority of members were disallowed from registering.
The chairmen and ward executives, in separate telephone interviews with newsmen in Ilorin on Friday, said the registration was a disenfranchisement.
Mr Mohammed Awobimpe, the APC Chairman in Ifelodun Local Government Area, said the whole exercise in the area was nothing to write home about.
“There is nowhere in Ifelodun where they were registering, I am from Igbaja, from my town up to Oke Ode, there were no materials for registration. ....
