It was 1977 and Steinfeld, a midfielder out of Long Island, made it clear he was not comfortable in that weather, and that was the moment he realized that lacrosse may not be for him.
So he left central New York and moved to Los Angeles. And that’s when and where he discovered what was for him: the world of fitness.
