Fluxys partner in Brazilian gas transmission system operator TBG

Gas infrastructure company Fluxys and institutional investor EIG Global Energy Partners (EIG) have completed the announced transfer of EIG’s minority stake in Brazilian gas transmission system operator TBG.
TBG (Transportadora Brasileira Gasoduto Bolívia-Brasil) owns and operates the 2600 km Brazilian section of the Bolívia-Brazil gas pipeline, a key energy infrastructure for Brazil. The agreement with EIG to become partner in TBG was announced on 5 January and is a solid fit with Fluxys’ strategy to develop outside Europe.
The work done by Fluxys and EIG has provided a sound basis for their continued cooperation. Fluxys looks forward to joining the Board of TBG in its efforts to move the company ahead in its development and has set up a branch in Rio de Janeiro for managing its partnership in TBG. ....

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency has advised urgent road surface repairs will take place between 12 and 2pm today on State Highway 2, between Barrett Rd and Te Karaka Drive, north of Te Puna.
The road will be down to one lane with stop/go traffic management and a 30kmh temporary speed limit in place.
This work needs to be undertaken urgently to ensure the safety of all road users over the long weekend and to avoid further damage in case of unfavourable weather. ....
