Delhi Unlock process to begin from May 31; factories, construction activities allowed
With the Covid-19 positivity rate falling below 2 per cent in Delhi, the city government has decided to begin the unlock process. Addressing the media after meeting L-G Anil Baijal, Kejriwal said that relaxations will be given to businesses from May 31. He said that factories and construction activities will be allowed in the city for one week from Monday.
This lockdown will last till Monday, 5am. We will begin the unlocking process. Construction activities and factories will be reopened from Monday keeping the daily wage workers in mind, the Delhi Chief Minister said. ....

Though coronavirus COVID-19 positivity rate is slowly declining in Delhi, around 85 per cent of the people in the national capital want Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to extend the ongoing lockdown by at least a week while 70 per cent said that a 2-week lockdown extension is necessary to curb the spread of coronavirus in Delhi, a survey conducted by online platform LocalCircles showed.  ....

Traders associations in Delhi have decided to observe voluntary lockdown of commercial markets for eight more days till May 10 in order to contain the spread of Covid-19.

With the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Act, 2021, being notified, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, will now be the one running the national capital henceforth. Issuing a fresh notification, the office of the Delhi L-G listed out the matters that needed to be cleared by Anil Baijal.
