A travel website for anglers rated Dunsmuir and McCloud two premier fishing destination spots this Memorial Day.
FishingBooker, a worldwide online travel service that book fishing trips, ranked the towns and surrounding area among the top 10 places to go over Memorial Day weekend.
“Dunsmuir and McCloud offer two world-class fisheries that happen to lie against one of California’s most beautiful backdrops,” the review said. “…the two towns have been drawing fly anglers to their scenic fisheries for generations.”
FishingBooker agents sifted through customer nominations for the top destinations, according to a press release from the travel website.
