Every person with a cell phone in Nueces County has received a missing person alert at least once, but do we know what they all mean?
Believe it or not, there are six types of alerts that can be sent to your cell phone at any time.
Alongside the well-known AMBER Alert, there are Sliver, CLEAR, Endangered Missing Persons, Blue and Camo alerts.

AMBER Alert
Perhaps the most recognized alert, an AMBER (America s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response) Alert is sent to the public when a child has been abducted or believed to be in danger of death, sexual assault or bodily injury.

An Amber Alert was issued by the Muskogee Police Department after an 8-year-old boy went missing at a bus stop in Tusla, Oklahoma.
The boy was identified as Jaiden Johnson. He was last seen on Monday around 5:13 PM, wearing jeans, a black shirt, and purple and black Jordan sneakers, according to Muskogee authorities.
At around 4:00 AM on Tuesday, the Amber Alert on Jaiden Johnson was issued.
According to the police, Johnson could be with 39-year-old Temicah Simpson, his mother. The pair may possibly be aboard a white 2011 Nissan Maxima vehicle with license plate number LKL-668 issued in Oklahoma.
