Booneville, Paris schools go without masks

Booneville, Paris schools go without masks The Paris and Booneville School Boards have lifted mask requirements for their students and staff.  Paris decision came April 8 and mandated that students continue to wear masks until April 16. The school will also still be enforcing most of its social distancing and cleaning policies throughout the rest of the school year.  The school board required an extra week of masks because “we just want to make sure” that numbers stay low, Fawcett said. Fawcett estimated that the district has not had a COVID case for at least the past three weeks.

In that span, DCH had admitted 154 new COVID-19 patients while discharging 176 who had recovered. Among those admitted, 36% are from within the Tuscaloosa city l
