OWLS HEAD  Kimberly Ann Curtis, 50, beloved daughter, mother, sister, partner, and friend to many, left this world too soon, Thursday, December 10, 2020.
Born in Camden, March 18, 1970, she was one of four children born to Ed and Carol Curtis. Kimmi was raised in Midcoast Maine, where she attended the Owl’s Head Central School and Rockland District Junior High. She graduated from Rockland District High School in 1988, and after went on to live quite an adventurous life.
She moved to Islesboro, where she gave birth to her only child, Silas Babbidge, before moving back to the mainland. Kimmi and her best friend, Chrissy Nickles, then built their own lobster boat, and went on to become one of the only woman-run commercial fishing boats in Maine.
