McCOOK, Neb. The federal government will pick up the tab for a master plan for McCooks airport.
On Monday night, the McCook City Council approved the consent agenda item that accepts the grant offer agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration for the Airport Improvement Program Project (AIP), the development of an airport master plan update at McCook Ben Nelson Regional Airport.
The project will develop an airport master plan update for the McCook airport. The grant will allow for 100% federal funding of the project, up to $368,000.
Garver, who was chosen as the consultant for the project, has proposed a total cost of the project at $360,290. Garver will be using W Design Associates as a sub-consultant on the project.
