Woman dies after being pulled into an industrial machine
    GRANTSVILLE, Utah (KSL) A 52-year-old woman died after she was pulled into a machine at a Purple mattress manufacturing facility on Thursday.
According to Grantsville Police Sgt. Jeff Watson, at about 4:41 p.m. dispatchers received a call about a woman who had gotten her arm caught in a machine. Watson said the woman was then pulled into the machine.
Medics arrived and removed the woman from the machine and attempted to resuscitate her, Watson said. The woman could not be resuscitated and died from her injuries.
The identity of the woman was not released. ....

A woman in her 50s was killed Thursday afternoon in an industrial accident at a mattress manufacturing plant in Grantsville, police confirmed. 
The 911 call came in at 4:41 p.m. and first responders were dispatched to the Purple Mattress factory at 441 S. Sheep Lane. The first police officer arrived three minutes later, said Sgt. Jeff Watson with Grantsville Police. 
Watson said police were told the woman was standing by a machine and got pulled in and caught in moving parts. She was already deceased by the time first responders were able to extricate her.  ....

GRANTSVILLE, Utah — A 51-year-old woman killed after being pulled into a machine at the Purple Mattress Plant in Grantsville Thursday has been identified.
Police say Anita Trene Coester was the victim.
Sargent Jeff Watson with the Grantsville Police Department said officers were dispatched just after 4:30 p.m. for an industrial accident at 441 Sheep Lane.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they found Coester had been pulled into one of the industrial machines.
Despite firefighters attempts to extricate Coester, she died of her injuries at the scene. ....

CHARLESTON Two people from the region were confirmed Wednesday as deaths from the COVID-19 coronavirus by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
The state reported the deaths of an 86-year-old woman from Wood County and am 88-year-old woman from Wetzel County, according to the Wednesday morning pandemic update from the department.
Fourteen more deaths were reported in the 24-hour period from Tuesday to Wednesday morning. The state’s death count as of Wednesday was 2,748 residents since the pandemic began a year ago.
The number of deaths in Wood County as of Wednesday was 169 and 30 in Wetzel in County. Total deaths from other counties were: Calhoun 0; Doddridge 6; Gilmer 5; Jackson 61; Pleasants 11; Ritchie 11; Roane 9; Tyler 10; Wirt 3 ....

Ten COVID deaths reported in West Virginia from Friday to Monday | News, Sports, Jobs

CHARLESTON Three deaths were reported from the virus from Sunday to Monday, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources said Monday.
Over the weekend, seven deaths from the virus were confirmed in the 24-hour period from Friday to Saturday mornings, the state said. No deaths were reported in the period from Saturday to Sunday, the state said.
Deaths Monday were reported in Berkeley, Wayne and Kanawha counties. The youngest was a 63-year-old man from Kanawha County.
Deaths this weekend were reported in Monongalia, Kanawha, Raleigh, Boone, Ohio and Marshall counties, the state said. The youngest was a 59-year-old man from Kanawha County, the state said. ....
