North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven (NTB) prepared for the future with the four new Liebherr ship to shore (STS) container cranes
NTB in Bremerhaven has taken delivery of four additional Liebherr ship to shore container cranes. It brings to ten the number of Liebherr STS at the port since the first STS was handed over in 2018. The cranes are identical to the previous supplied and are amongst the largest STS cranes in the world with an outreach of 73 m, a span of 30.48 m and a backreach of 25 m. The cranes have a safe working load of 75 tonnes and are able to handle the world’s largest container vessels. Designed to work vessels with 25 containers across and up to 10 high on deck, the cranes will allow NTB to handle future generations of ultra large container vessels. ....

Liebherr delivers 4 more STS cranes to top European terminal NTB
KILLARNEY (Ireland), January 26, 2021
Liebherr Group, one of the largest construction equipment manufacturers in the world, has completed the delivery of four additional Liebherr ship-to-shore container cranes to NTB, one of the most important European container terminals with an annual handling volume of more than 3 million TEU.

With this delivery, the number of Liebherr STS at the NTB Bremerhaven port has risen to 10 since the first STS was handed over in 2018.

The cranes are identical to the previous supplied and are amongst the largest STS cranes in the world with an outreach of 73 m, a span of 30.48 m and a backreach of 25 m. ....

The EUROGATE Group shareholders BLG LOGISTICS and EUROKAI have appointed Christian Lankenau as the new HR Director in the Group Management Board of EUROGATE GmbH & Co. KGaA, KG. Effective from January 1, 2021, he will succeed Ulrike Riedel, who became Board member of BLG LOGISTICS as Labour Relations Director on July 1, 2020 and continues to act as HR Director of the EUROGATE Group on an interim basis until December 31, 2020. In his new role, Christian Lankenau will be responsible for HR, legal affairs and internal audit.
Christian Lankenau, born in 1977, completed an apprenticeship as a banker and studied business administration at the universities of Bremen (GER), Leeds (UK) and Caen (F), graduating with a diploma in business administration. After completing his studies, he worked in various functions at the auditing company KPMG in Bremen and Chicago (US) between 2004 and 2011. In 2011, he moved to NTB North Sea Terminal Br ....
