Music composer Shravan Rathod of Nadeem-Shravan duo died of Covid-19 complications in Mumbai's S L Raheja Hospital on Thursday evening. The veteran musician was diagnosed with Covid-19 recently and he had multiple medical problems. He was kept on ventilator support. Confirming the news, Dr Kirti Bhushan of Raheja Hospital said that the cause of death is cardiomyopathy with multiple organ failure due to Covid-19. Several Bollywood celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to the late composer.

Bollywood composer Shravan Rathod of Nadeem-Shravan musical duo died on Thursday evening of Covid-19 related complications.
According to a report in the
Times of India, the composer tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted to Mumbai's Raheja hospital four days back. He was in a critical condition over the last couple of days.
“He passed away around 9.30 pm. We tried our best but he failed to pull out of it. The cause of death was Covid-induced cardiomyopathy with pulmonary oedema and multiple-organ failure,” Dr Kirti Bhushan of Raheja Hospital was quoted as saying in the report.

Celebrated music composer Shravan Rathod, of Nadeem-Sharvan fame, has been admitted to a hospital in the city, after he tested positive for COVID-19. Dr Kirti Bhushan, who is overseeing the musician’s care at the hospital, confirmed to ETimes that Shravan is undergoing the necessary treatment. He said, "Shravan Rathod is on ventilator support and his condition is critical. There is a bit of heart enlargement and his pumping has been affected. We are taking the necessary steps for the same. We have made a medical team of physicians, cardiologists, a diabetologist and an intensivist, all of who are overseeing his care."

Coronavirus cases are on a rise and while some people, including a few celebs are not getting affected but others are getting affected badly. Composer duo Nedeem-Shravan's Shravan Rathode had been hospitalised after contracting COVID. Now, he is in a critical condition and has been kept on ventilator support.
The news has been confirmed by both Shravan Rathode's son, Sanjeev Rathod. Talking to Indian Express, he said, “Yes, he tested positive for Covid-19 and is admitted to SL Raheja hospital in Mahim, he is very critical as he has other comorbidities also. Please pray for him.”

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Dec 14: Three persons died of COVID-19 and 246 tested positive including a senior IAS officer and a Medical Superintendent of the hospital while 387 others recovered from the virus in Jammu and Kashmir today.
A senior IAS officer, who was previously posted as Principal Secretary with former Lieutenant Governor, today tested positive for COVID-19.
Dr Kirti Bhushan, Medical Superintendent, Psychiatric Hospital Jammu has also tested positive for the virus.
An 82-year-old man from Pallanwalla in Akhnoor, who was co-morbid and positive for the Coronavirus, died in the Military Hospital Satwari today while 50-year-old from Paryal in Marh area of Jammu district succumbed to the virus at home.
