In the past we ve actually struggled against Shamera but Shimmy was awesome, Nicole Richardson said following her first win as Collingwood s head coach.
To beat Thunderbirds you really have to take Shamera Sterling out of the contest and Shimmy did a really good job with that.
Her holds were a lot stronger and we did a lot of work on that in the past week.
The Magpies held a narrow lead for much of the game but could not shrug off a determined Thunderbirds outfit who were up by two with less than four minutes left.
But Adelaide were held scoreless from that point, with Sinclair landing from distance and Nelson adding a couple from close range. ....
