Starbucks Community Resilience Fund Exclusively Pledges $100 Million to Advance Small Business Growth and Community Development Projects in Black Community.
The Seattle-based company, Starbucks, has created the Starbucks Community Resilience Fund as of January 12, 2021, the franchise has committed to invest $100 million over the next four years to support small businesses and community development projects in areas mostly populated by Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC).
Starbucks’ financial initiative intends to focus on 12 U.S. metropolitan areas, such as, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle and Washington D.C. ....

Starbucks started a new community resilience fund to help support underserved communities in 12 major cities.
The Seattle-based coffee company announced the launch of the Starbucks Community Resilience Fund on Wednesday, which will invest $100 million by 2025 to help advance racial equity and environmental initiatives through development projects in Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities.

Contractors in DoD supply chains are required to have adequate information security measures in place.   For those handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) which can include technical data and any information not in the public domain, these measures include the 110 controls of NIST SP 800-171.  The DoD has issued an interim rule effective November 30, 2020 that requires reporting assessment results to this standard; and introduces a phased implementation of a new auditable requirement called Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
