DBN Names New Executive Director, Non-Executive Director

The nation’s wholesale development finance institution, Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), has announced the appointment of Mrs. Ijeoma Ozulumba and Mr. Kyari Abba Kyari as Executive Director and Independent Non-Executive Director respectively, on the board of the bank.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Shehu Yahaya, who made the disclosure, noted that the appointment of Ozulumba and Kyari would further strengthen DBN’s vision to provide adequate and sustainable financing to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.
In a statement issued by the bank, the board chairman maintained that the organisation would continually uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, which have kept the bank on a steady trajectory of progress. ....

Basic Agreement Reached with All 68 Tokyo 2020 Domestic Partners regarding Contract Extension

Tokyo, 24 December 2020 - The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Tokyo 2020) today announced that, with regard to the hosting of the Tokyo 2020 Games next year, it has reached basic agreement with all 68 Tokyo 2020 domestic partner companies on an extension of their sponsorship contracts. Based on this agreement, we are proceeding with the conclusion of contracts with all partners.
Tokyo 2020 President MORI Yoshiro commented as follows:
We have recently confirmed that we have reached basic agreement with all domestic partners supporting the Tokyo 2020 Games regarding the extension of their contracts into 2021. ....
