Representative Image MUMBAI: Nine men, including two friends of a Jaipur-based trader have been arrested for allegedly robbing him of Rs 25 lakh on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway at Vasai last month. Harihant Pabuwal (27) deals in masks and sanitisers and was doing good since Covid-19 pandemic started. Harihant came to Mumbai last month for business and stayed in a 5-star hotel in Andheri. He was in touch with his friends, including Parth Jani (26) and Rabani Parel (28) from Thane. On February 26, Pabuwal was headed back to Jaipur in his car when he was intercepted on the highway in Vasai. Six masked men threatened him and took away 25 lakh cash from him. Pabuwal registered a case of dacoity with Valiv police. In his complaint, Pabuwal said that some of the men posed as cops and took away his money. ....

Instead, a radio announcer read out the text of the statement ascribed to the President. Two major reasons were cited behind this decision: major party of West Pakistan namely Pakistan People s Party, led by Bhutto, as well as certain other political parties have declared their intention not to attend the National Assembly session on March 3, 1971, and general situation of tension created by India.
