While some of the world s largest financial service companies are calling workers back to the office in the coming weeks, Michigan banks largely appear to be maintaining a wait-and-see approach.
After more than a year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the central business districts of Michigan s cities and towns long home to banking headquarters and branches remain largely ghost towns when it comes to office workers. Wall Street banks, major automotive manufacturers and various other noteworthy Michigan companies including Rocket Companies Inc. and Dow Inc. have released statements announcing, to various degrees, changes to political donations as they ve expressed dismay with the attempts to disturb a free and fair election and the violence that ensued.
